Cherves Richemont
Borderies
Located in northern Cognac, this village belongs to the very specific Borderies Cru or region. Representing only 5% of the vine harvest, these cognacs are renowned for their floral profile.
The 2010 vintage benefitted from predictable seasonal climates, allowing the grapes to be harvested at full maturity at the end of September. Distilled using traditional methods then aged in barrels selected from a range of coopers, toasts and grains, these eaux de vie offer a rich and complex palate of aromas.

SERVING SUGGESTION
The Leviathan cocktail was created by a barman at the Georges V hotel in Paris in the 1930s.
Pour 50 ml of La Guilde du Cognac Cherves Richemont 2010 into a mixer filled with ice and top with 20 ml La Quintinye Vermouth Rouge and a touch of orange liqueur.
Stir with a spoon then pour into a champagne glass, filtering out the ice.
